Hello! My name is Angela Newby and I am currently teaching Pre-K. I received my Bachelor's degree from Troy (State) University, as well as my Master's degree from Troy University. I have experience teaching kindergarten, and first grade as well. With 21 years of experience, I look foward to many, many more! This is my 6th year at Elba City Schools and I am anticipating the wonderful things to come in my future here. 

I have two awesome children Gabe, and Ella. Although we live in Alabama, our household pulls for my home state of GEORGIA ! 

I am passionate about my job and my students and their families become part of MY family. I hold high expectations for EACH child and I do my best to instill a sense of pride, confidence, and high self esteem in each of them, while helping them to be excited about learning. With that being said, I can truly say that "TEACHING IS MY OCCUPASSION."
